Ransomware is widely regarded as a critical, existential threat to businesses, with attacks happening frequently and often causing severe damage beyond just data loss. Cybercriminals are increasingly targeting key infrastructure, exposing vulnerabilities, including within backup systems. IT leaders must recognize that the threat extends far beyond data and focus on fortifying their backup and recovery infrastructure to minimize risk and reduce business impact through advanced protection strategies.
To explore these challenges, TechTarget’s Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG) surveyed 600 IT and cybersecurity professionals across North America.
