With a large student population being served by a tedious paper records programme, the American College of Greece was unprepared for the pandemic and its demands for digital records. The college records team required an immediate solution and a straightforward implementation process.

A time-consuming paper process Vivi Consta, Registrar at the American College of Greece, remembers the pre-pandemic process as time-consuming and tedious. "We would give paper official transcripts, printing them and putting them in envelopes for the students," a process that required a lot of manual work and plenty of paper.
For students, this process had drawbacks, too. Elina Gkioka, the Senior Administrative Assistant in the Registrar's Office at the college, remembers, "It took students one or two days to receive their document," which often caused backlogs, delays, and frustrated students.
